Brave Ones is growing, and we're looking for someone who can help make sure our international employees get off to a great start at their new jobs.
In this role, you'll support our recruitment team by taking care of everything that happens once a candidate has been hired. From onboarding, contracts and work permits to employee questions, sick leave and offboarding.
You'll be the person making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. You keep track of tasks, follow up on outstanding actions and make sure employees are fully prepared for their first day at work.
This isn't your typical part-time job. You'll get real responsibility, work on a variety of tasks and have the opportunity to help improve the way we work. We're looking for someone who is organized, proactive and enjoys taking ownership.
Whether you're a student looking to gain valuable work experience or someone looking for a flexible, long-term part-time role, we'd love to hear from you!
About Brave Ones
Brave Ones is a fast-growing scale-up helping internationals find job opportunities in the Netherlands. But finding a job is only the beginning. We believe everything that comes with employment should be just as well organized.
From the moment someone gets hired until their last working day, we want our employees to feel supported and know exactly what to expect. That's why we take care of onboarding, help with practical questions and make sure everything related to their employment is properly arranged.
We're looking for someone who shares our mission: Enable opportunities for internationals in every European city.
Your role
As part of our Recruitment Support team, you'll make sure new employees have everything they need to start their jobs with confidence, while giving our clients peace of mind that everything has been taken care of.
You'll work closely with your colleagues in operations and recruitment, and regularly communicate with our Customer Success Manager and Operations Lead.
Once a candidate has been hired, you take over the process. You make sure all personal information and documents are complete, apply for work permits when needed, arrange employee registrations and check that contracts and placements are processed correctly.
You'll also be in direct contact with new employees, guiding them through the onboarding process and making sure they know what to expect on their first day.
Your involvement doesn't stop there. Throughout their employment, you'll help employees with practical questions about their contracts, payslips or personal information. At the same time, you'll keep track of important deadlines, such as contract extensions and work permit expiration dates.
No two days are exactly the same. And because we're a growing scale-up, we're constantly looking for ways to work smarter and more efficiently. We encourage you to take initiative, challenge existing processes and share your ideas for improvement.
What will you do?
Onboard new employees and guide them towards their first working day.
Collect, check and process employee information and documents.
Apply for work permits and monitor their progress.
Prepare and check contracts, registrations and employee placements.
Conduct onboarding calls with new employees.
Answer employee questions by phone and email.
Help complete weekly work schedules for our clients.
Keep employee information and internal systems up to date.
Monitor contract extensions and important deadlines.
Process sick leave notifications and other changes during employment.
Arrange offboarding when an employee leaves.
Help improve our operational processes and make them smarter and more efficient.
Who are we looking for?
We're looking for someone who takes responsibility, pays attention to detail and enjoys getting things done.
You have a proactive mindset. Rather than waiting for someone to tell you what to do, you recognize what needs to happen and take action. When something isn't working or could be improved, you think about how to make it better.
At the same time, working at Brave Ones is all about people. That's why we're looking for someone who is approachable, communicates easily and enjoys being part of a young, ambitious and international team.
You also recognize yourself in the following:
You're organized, accurate and have a strong eye for detail.
You communicate clearly and confidently, both by phone and email.
You enjoy helping people from different backgrounds and nationalities.
You're proactive and comfortable taking responsibility.
You like finding ways to make processes better, smarter and more efficient.
You're willing to go the extra mile for employees, clients and colleagues.
You're comfortable working independently while also being part of a team.
Experience in recruitment, operations, administration or customer service is a plus, but definitely not required. What matters most is your attitude, motivation and willingness to learn.
