What is the Search Year visa?

The Search Year (Orientation Year) visa allows international graduates to stay in the Netherlands for 12 months to look for work or start a business.

During this year:

  • Employers can hire you more easily compared to other visa types
It’s one of the most accessible ways to launch your career in the Netherlands, but timing and preparation are key.
