What does Brave Ones offer to international students?

1. Part-time and full-time jobs all year round
Brave Ones offers several English-speaking part-time or flexible jobs that do not require the Dutch language to international students and graduates in the Netherlands. We also provide English-speaking full-time jobs for students during summer. Check out our open jobs here.

2. Insights about working and living in the Netherlands
Not only our Instagram are filled with relevant tips, but we have also written blogs with practical tips about living and working in the Netherlands for both international students and graduates.

How do I apply for jobs?

There are two ways internationals can apply for English-speaking jobs via Brave Ones.

1. Apply for a job
If you see an open job, you are interested in on the Job listing page, you click on "Apply" and fill out your details.

Do I need to speak Dutch to apply for a job?

No, all our job offers for international students and graduates do not require any knowledge of Dutch.

We do recommend starting to learn Dutch as soon as you can, as it increases your chances of getting a fulltime study-related job after graduation.

I need a job in my city, but I don’t see it listed.

You can do these two things:

1. Keep an eye on our vacancies page for openings 
You can do this by regularly checking our jobs page here.
If you see a job you like, you can press on the job and then click on "Apply Now"

2. Join our talent pool
You can opt to have to be placed in our system and then we can reach out to you once we have a job that matches your profile & location. To do this click the Join our talent pool button on our website or click here

How long does the process take to get a job through Brave Ones?

If there is a match, we will contact you regarding the vacancy applied for. 

Can exchange students apply for a job at Brave Ones?

Yes, as an exchange student, you can also apply to our open jobs! However, your ability to work may depend on your visa type and the rules of your exchange program. In most cases, non-EU/EEA students need a work permit and are limited to a maximum of 16 hours per week during the semester or full-time during the summer.
