Evening/night shift: Parttime Warehouse employee Hoofddorp

The employer is looking for enthusiastic and reliable order pickers to join a young and dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring that customers receive their orders completely and on time. Using a voice-picking system and a powered picking trolley, you will move through the different sections of the warehouse and collect the right products along the way. You will be working with four roll containers attached to the trolley and and it’s important that you can move this around safely and efficiently.

There are 3 different temperature zones that you will be working in:

• Dried goods (room temp.)
• Chilled (+/- 5 °C)
• Frozen (+/- -24 °C)

Don’t worry about the colder areas. The employer will provide you with the appropriate protective clothing, so you can stay comfortable while working. Next to this, working in the colder zones comes with the benefit of extra money. For safety reasons, the shifts in the freezer are structured with 50 minutes of work and 10 minutes of defrosting each hour.

- You are proactive, reliable, and accurate.
- Comfortable with driving an EPT truck.
- Experience in logistics is a plus. 
- Available for at least 6 months and can work 16-32 hours per week.
- Available to work asap.
- Willingness to perform physical work, including lifting and moving heavy goods.
- Comfortable working in cold environments, from +7°C to -24°C (warm clothes provided). 
- You are flexible regarding working hours and are willing to work evening and night shifts.
- You are available as soon as possible.
- Comfortable being a night owl and working evening and night shifts.
- You are living in or near Amsterdam / Leiden, as the company is in Hoofddorp. 
- Be available for evening and weekend work. 

Work schedule: We work in two shifts on weekdays: 
Day shift: 09:00 – 17:00. 
Evening/night shift: 18:00 – 02:00. 
Weekend shifts run from 16:00 – 00:00. 

Your training period will take place during the day shift to ensure you get off to a strong start. As the company delivers seven days a week, you’ll also be scheduled to work some weekend shifts. Evening and weekend shifts come with extra pay in recognition of the irregular hours.

Pay and allowances: 
- Base hourly wage: €14.23 
- Chilled section allowance: €0.53 per hour 
- Freezer section allowance: €1.22 per hour 

Travel allowance: If you live between 10 and 25 km from our location, you’ll receive €0.23 per km for travel costs. Free staff meals are provided during both the day and evening shifts, just one of the ways we look after our team. Our warehouse is easily accessible by both car and public transport, and we have a friendly, supportive team ready to welcome you. Allowances 
If you work these times you wil be paid (as an example Monday 00:00 - 04:00 you wil get 150% that means 50% extra per hour)
Mondays till Fridays 
- 00:00 - 04:00 = 150% 
- 04:00 - 06:00 = 125% 
- 19:00 - 22:00 = 125% on Fridays this wil be 150% 
- 22:00 - 24:00 = 150% 

Saturdays and Sundays 
- 00:00 - 14:00 = 150% on Sundays this wil be 200% 
- 14:00 - 19:00 = 175% on Sundays this wil be 200% 
- 19:00 - 22:00 = 200% 
- 22:00 - 00:00 = 200% on Sundays this wel be 150%
