Description

As a Packaging Operator, you'll help keep the packaging process running smoothly in a modern production environment. You'll operate packaging machines, monitor the production process and ensure every product is packaged safely and meets the highest quality standards.

Your tasks include: 
•  Operating and monitoring packaging machines. 
•  Setting up and adjusting machines. 
•  Solving minor machine malfunctions. 
•  Checking product and packaging quality. 
•  Supplying packaging materials to the production line. 
•  Keeping your workplace clean and organised. 

The production site is open Monday to Friday, so you'll always have your weekends free. 
Your schedule is based on your availability. 

•  Work 2 to 5 shifts per week. 
•  Planning is made 2-3 weeks in advance. 
•  Share at least 4 available shifts each week. 
•  If you're available for more shifts, we'll do our best to schedule you for additional hours. 

Standard shift times 
•  06:00 - 14:00 
•  14:00 - 22:00 
•  22:00 - 06:00 

Please note: The factory closes on Christmas Eve and reopens in the new year.

About the client

Our client is one of the Netherlands' leading confectionery manufacturers with over 100 years of experience. You'll work in a team of international students at a modern production facility in 's-Heerenberg. From day one, you'll receive full training and have opportunities to grow within the company. 

Training materials and courses are available on paper and/or digitally, either before you start or on your first working day. Reviewing them in advance can help you learn the role faster and get up to speed quickly.

Requirements

•  You live in Arnhem or nearby and can start as soon as possible. 
•  You speak English or Dutch. 
•  You're available for at least 16 hours per week (up to 36 hours). 
•  You're available until at least end of December 2026. 
•  You work accurately and enjoy hands-on work. 
•  You follow the mandatory hygiene requirements at the production site. 
•  You complete the required e-learning test as part of your training.

Our offer

•  Earn up to €22.41 gross per hour, including shift allowances. Paid weekly. 
•  Starting salary €16.12 gross per hour, with 138% evening and 139% night shift pay. 
•  Flexible working hours from 16 to 36 hours per week. 
•  Free return shuttle service from Arnhem Centraal. The journey takes just 30-35 minutes, and after every shift you will be brought back to Arnhem. No car needed. 
•  Full training from day one, a friendly international team of international students, and opportunities to grow within the company. 
•  A position until end of December 2026, with the possibility of a long-term position if it's a good match for both you and our client.
