Your team
You’ll work in a young, energetic, and multicultural team. Our colleagues come from Canada, Brazil and the Netherlands. We are a diverse team with a common drive: successfully connecting internationals with Dutch companies. You will be working closely with our marketing team including, Copywriter and Marketing Manager who will help you with making @braveonesnl/@braveonesnl_ the go-to resource for internationals in the Netherlands.
What will you be doing?
As our Content Creator, you will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging content that strengthens Brave Ones’ presence and impact among international students in the Netherlands. From concept to publication, you will manage the entire content process. This means you will research and script creative ideas, coordinate and record shoots, and appear on camera yourself.
The type of content you will be creating reflects what you already find on our pages: short and dynamic Instagram Reels and TikTok videos, practical student tips, highlights from events and workshops, interviews with internationals, and behind-the-scenes glimpses of life at Brave Ones. Every piece of content should be fun, authentic, and action-oriented, helping students feel more at home in the Netherlands while promoting our services in a relatable way.
Beyond content production, you will manage our posting calendar together with the Marketing Manager, publish across channels, and actively engage with our community through comments, stories, and direct messages. You will also track performance insights, using them to refine strategies and improve reach and engagement. Working closely with our marketing team, you will support seasonal campaigns, promote our services, and contribute to creative brainstorming sessions that keep our content innovative and impactful.
Your role extends beyond the digital space: you will represent Brave Ones at events, Intro Markets, and presentations across the Netherlands, engaging with students directly and building our community offline. Throughout, you will stay aligned with team and company goals.

Create clear, authentic, and action-oriented content that empowers international students in the Netherlands, while strengthening Brave Ones’ online presence. Through strategic storytelling and consistent execution, you’ll drive real engagement and meaningful conversions.
Your responsibilities

Social Media Content Creation:
Scriptwriting: Understand the target audience and brand message. Develop creative scripts and video concepts that effectively convey our mission. Research and stay up to date with content trends for strategic storytelling.
Recording: Plan, schedule, and coordinate content recordings. Manage Brave Ones’ media files and represent the brand as a public figure on camera.
Editing: Edit video and visual content aligned with current trends, while maintaining brand consistency and identity.
Publishing: Prepare and post finalized content across social media channels, following brand guidelines.

Social Media Management
Platform Oversight: Manage Brave Ones’ presence on Instagram and TikTok, including posts, stories, comments, and direct messages.
Content Calendar: Post consistently, aligned with the marketing schedule.
Analytics: Track and analyse performance insights to optimize content and reach internal objectives.
Strategy Development: Develop innovative content ideas, tools, and approaches tailored to each platform’s needs.

Campaign & Brand Promotion
Support seasonal campaigns and brand promotions across channels.
Collaborate closely with the marketing team, including management, affiliate partners, and copywriters.

Service Promotion
Drive conversions by directing students to the website and ensuring effective promotion of our services.
Manage vacancy announcements and related posts on demand.

Collaboration & Creativity
Work closely with our marketing team to develop strategies in order to enhance brand awareness and engagement. Join meetings and brainstorming sessions to make sure everyone is on the same page.
- Community Engagement
Represent Brave Ones at events, workshops, and presentations across the Netherlands (e.g., IntroWeeks, Info Markets, International Student activities).
- Goal Alignment
Stay aligned with personal and team-wide OKRs to contribute to overall company growth.
What do you need to excel in the job?

Availability: Able to start in December for 8h/week and from January onwards commit to a minimum of 16h/week for at least 2-3 years.

Location: Living in the Arnhem-Nijmegen region.

Flexibility: Available 24/40h per week in every August to actively participate in IntroWeeks across different cities.

Skills: Basic video editing skills for Instagram and TikTok, with a good sense for engaging content.

Trend Awareness: Up to date with the latest social media trends.

Education: A study-related background is not required but considered a plus.

Mindset: Driven, passionate, and enthusiastic, with an affinity for entrepreneurship and the dynamic environment of a scale-up.
