Freezer Warehouse Employee part-time
Apply now!The company is one of the largest wholesalers of all catering needs such as vegetables, dairy, non-food and many fresh products with eighteen branches in the Netherlands. You will be working for their location in Eindhoven, which is only 18 minutes by bike from Eindhoven central station.
As a warehouse employee in the freezer department your main work activities are restocking shelves and picking products within the freezer for clients. You will be provided with warm clothes. In the morning (08:00 – 12:30) you will place the products on the shelves with a reach truck. And in the afternoon (13:00 – 17:00) you will pick products so they can be shipped to the clients (e.g. restaurants) on time. You will work with a scanner and have a high degree of responsibility and independence. In the freezer department, it is important you have a good memory of where products are and can handle a cold environment. The work atmosphere is characterized as open and friendly. You will work together with international and Dutch students
• You are available as soon as possible.
• You are proactive and reliable.
• Available to work at least 16 hours (2 days) per week.
• Available until the end of December.
• Maximum 1 to 2 week holiday in July & August.
• If you want to work more hours (up to 40 p/w) in the summer, then that's possible.
• Living in or around Eindhoven.
• You must be comfortable working in a cold environment (-22 degrees). You will be provided with warm work clothes.
• You are willing to learn to drive a reach truck. Training will be provided and paid for by Brave Ones.
You will be working day shifts, starting at 08:00 and finishing around 17:00. You will be planned in at least 2 days a week, from Monday – Saturday.
Your salary:
21 or 21+: €14.11 per hour
20: €11.90 per hour
19: €9.88 per hour
18: €7.59 per hour
You get an extra allowance of €0,79 per hour in the freezer department.
You will get travel cost reimbursement (€0.19/km) when the travel distance is more than 10 km
