Apply now!The bakery is running almost 24/7, only Saturday mornings between 06:00 and 12:00 the machines are turned off. As at that moment the production and logistical areas are thoroughly cleaned by you and 4 co-workers. You will use regular cleaning tools to make sure the machines, bakery equipment, floors and walls of ready for the next production week.
As you're working in a food-related environment it is not allowed to wear piercings, jewellery, false nails etc. You will receive work clothing from the company. You don't need to have experience with cleaning yet, most important is that you have a can do mentality and willing to role up your sleeves each week to get the job done.
Over time there is the option to increase your hours by adding production/logistical shifts during the week, but not directly from the start. Your shift will start at 06:00 each Saturday morning so we are looking for early birds!
The company is a modern bakery with 13 store locations in Nijmegen and surroundings. This family business produces amongst others artisanal bread and pastries for locals through their shops, supermarkets, schools, hotels, healthcare institutions and the catering industry. You will be working in the heart of the company: the head quarter & production location.
The company is located on a 30 minute bus ride or 20 minute bike ride. Please be aware that busses will not be driving when the night shift ends, but we do offer good e-bike deals.
Your shifts will be on Saturday, from 06:00 to 12:00 latest. Sometimes a shift might end slightly earlier, if the work is finished earlier.
The company is looking for students who can structurally work on Saturday.
Your salary:
21 or 21+: €15.82 per hour
20: €12.91 per hour
19: €11.04 per hour
18: €9.51 per hour
Allowances:
34% extra 22:00-06:00 Monday-Saturday
34% extra 12:00-18:00 Saturday
50% extra Sunday
100% extra on national holidays such as Christmas
Whenever your one-way commute is longer than 6 km, you get €0,21 travel reimbursement per km.
