Apply now!The company is one of the largest wholesalers of all catering needs such as vegetables, dairy, non-food and many fresh products with eighteen branches in the Netherlands. You will be working for their location in Delft, which is only 25 minutes by bike from The Hague central station and 9 minutes from Delft Station.
As a warehouse employee in the fresh department your main work activities are picking products within the freezer for clients. You will be provided with warm clothes. You will pick products so they can be shipped to the clients (e.g. restaurants) on time. You will work with a scanner and have a high degree of responsibility and independence. In the fresh department, it is important you have a good memory of where products are and can handle a cold environment. The work atmosphere is characterized as open and friendly. You will work together with international and Dutch students.
• You are available as soon as possible.
• You are proactive and reliable.
• Available to work at least 12 hours per week.
• Available for at least 6 months.
• Available on 3 of the following days. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
• Living in or around The Hague or Delft.
• You must be comfortable working in a cold environment (4-12 degrees). You will be provided with warm work clothes.
• You will receive a free warm meal every shift you work.
You will be working evening/night shifts, starting at 22:00 and finishing around 02:00. You will be planned on at least 3 days a week, on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday.
Your salary:
21 or 21+: €14.40 per hour
20: €12.19 per hour
19: €10.12 per hour
18: €7.77 per hour
You will get travel cost reimbursement (€0.19/km) when the travel distance is more than 10 km
